The 2028 FAME Festival will be held in Sydney
from 9th - 16th of January 2028
Sydney Mandolin Orchestra (SMO), Australia's oldest mandolin orchestra will be the host of this festival and it will be fabulous!

Latest News: Thank you to all those who have already paid their Registration fee for the 2028 FAME Festival in Sydney. However there may still be some people who have yet to pay their Registration fee but are keen to secure a room WITH AN ENSUITE and they need to know that there are just a few unbooked ensuite rooms remaining!
Also, with more than 18 months before the 2028 Sydney FAME Festival the Festival Organising Committee is working hard to ensure that it will be a very good quality event at a reasonable price. However it’s inevitable that there will be an increase in the price paid for the 2026 Melbourne FAME Festival, due mainly to the higher cost of inner city accommodation in Sydney and other forecast cost of living rises.
We will communicate more details as soon as possible but please remember this when you do your budgetting!
