NEWS The next FAME Mandolin Festival will be held in Auckland, New Zealand from 2nd to 9th January 2011. This promises to be fantastic experience for players from inexperienced to advanced. And New Zealand is one of the world's best kept secrets with a plethora of natural wonders to explore all in two relatively small islands. The music-making will be great fun and it will be a wonderful opportunity for participants and family members to have the holiday of a lifetime! PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR THE LATEST NEWS AND ANOTHER REGISTRATION FORM ******************************************************* Keith Harris, the conductor of the FAME Festival Orchestra at the Brisbane FAME Festival in July 2009, is seeking feedback from players about their experiences and their preparation for the Festival rehearsals and performance. This feedback may be extremely helpful for those involved in planning future FAME Festivals so please fill our the questionnaire and send it back to Keith Eurofestival Zupfmusik 2010 in Bruchsal - this wonderful festival was held in Germany in June 2010. It won't be too long before a report with pictures will be posted on this page for our readers' interest! FAME members are encouraged to look at this document and provide feedback about it to FAME's committee of management - it is considered to be a "work in progress"! Click here to download a copy of the draft version of the Letter of Agreement For FAME Festivals, a document which is intended to be a formal agreement between FAME's committee of management and Organizing Committees seeking to hold FAME Festivals and which outlines the mutual responsibilities and obligations of both parties relating to FAME Festivals. Once again FAME's committee of management is keen to get feedback from FAME members about this document especially if it can be improved in any way.
