The next FAME International Mandolin Festival will be held in Perth, West Australia from Sunday 8th to Sunday 15th July 2012. Once again Perth will host an exciting Mandolin Festival. The last FAME Mandolin Festival was held in Auckland, New Zealand from 2nd to 9th January 2011. It was a wonderful Festival thanks to all the hard work by the Auckland Mandolinata and their wonderful conductor, Bryan Holden. The week included in-house performances, lots of rehearsals and plenty of free time, tours and lots of laughter and fun. It culminated in two fantastic concerts and it was truly very sad to leave Auckland at the conclusion of the Festival. Thanks again to the hardworking organizing committee. New Zealand is truly one of the world's best kept secrets!
