FAME has a Committee of Management consisting of representatives of all the Australian states with mandolin orchestras and New Zealand. The numbers of representatives from each state depends upon the number of FAME members in each state. FAME's Public Officer is Dr Jinette de Gooijer.

The Committee of Management meet by teleconference several times each year and, as far as it is practical, also at the Annual General Meeting.
